Congratulations to Catríona Brady Halmschlag, Coláiste Chiaráin, on winning the Graduate competition through her European Studies class. Catríona, along with 23 other Irish students, won an all expenses paid trip which included visits to the European Parliament building in Brussels, a day in Luxemburg and a full day of debating and living the life of an MEP in the Parliament in Strasbourg. Catríona was one of two students chosen to speak on behalf of the Irish contingent and carried the Irish flag into the Parliament. Catríona will also join her winning European Studies class on another trip to the parliament in Strasbourg on the 25th of November. The entire class have won this trip through their fantastic work on the European Parliament Ambassador Schools Programme which was piloted in Coláiste Chiaráin last year. Well done to all involved.
