Limerick and Clare ETB recently hosted a special commemorative event at Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh to mark the presentation to the board of a portrait of former Minister for Education Donogh O’Malley as part of national commemorations recognising the 60th anniversary of his landmark introduction of free post-primary education.

The Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) and Limerick and Clare ETB have announced the addition of a new programme to its existing Tertiary Degree pathways partnership. Developed in collaboration with the National Tertiary Office (NTO), this innovative programme will provide from this September a clear, non-CAO progression route for students pursuing a degree in Mental Health Nursing.

Limerick and Clare ETB has approved the application by Treaty United FC to partner with its College of FET to deliver a new Player Development Programme. The announcement represents a significant step forward for football and further education and training in the region, creating a structured dual pathway that combines elite football development with a fully-accredited QQI Level 5 qualification.
