The Board of Management of the new Community School in Ennistymon invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Principal to take effect from 1st September 2022. The new community school is due to open in September 2023 and is an amalgamation of Ennistymon Vocational School, Scoil Mhuire and Ennistymon CBS. The school will operate under the joint patronage of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, CEIST and Edmund Rice Schools Trust (ERST). The new school will have an anticipated enrolment of approximately 750 students in September 2023.
On application candidates must have:
• A recognised post-primary teaching qualification
• A minimum of 5 years’ satisfactory teaching experience
• Registration in accordance with Section 30 of the Teaching Council Act 2001
