Limerick College of Further Education (LCFE) ran a very successful Health and Well -being Week from 17th to 22nd October for learners and staff alike. It kicked off with the screening of the award winning movie TRANsition which was directed by one of our past learners, Robert Cunningham.

Healthy food featured strongly with our Advanced Sport hosting a fantastic Cheerios Breakfast Morning in aid of Childline on the Tuesday and our Hospitality learners giving us all a super demonstration in Smoothie making on the Thursday morning. The proceeds of over €450 from the week’s events are being split between Childline and Milford Hospice, as decided by the Advanced Sport group.

Applications are invited for inclusion on a panel of temporary Supervisors in certain post-primary schools. Successful applicants will be required to supervise pupils on the school premises.
