Brian Arthur Press Release Embargoed: 6pm, Monday 10 September 2018 Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board today marked the official opening of a brand new information hub at its O’Connell Avenue Campus in Limerick City. The new hub has been established as a one-stop-shop for potential learners to enquire about or apply for further education and training courses offered by the ETB and to get advice from a member of the Information, Recruitment and Guidance team working in the centre. The hub was officially launched by Minister of State at the Department of Finance and the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, Patrick O’Donovan TD. The event was attended by the Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr James Collins, George O’Callaghan, Chief Executive, Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, and a large group of invited guests. Situated in the heart of the city, the hub provides a modern environment with touchscreen technology that allows users self-access information on courses or to receive assistance on the kind of course that’s right for them. The location is also highly convenient for local enterprises to drop in and learn what training and education supports are available for their employees or to arrange a visit from the ETB’s Enterprise Engagement Support Service.
