Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board recently marked the official opening of Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh’s brand new school campus at Clare Street in Limerick City.

Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Patrick O’Donovan TD, and students from across the Mid West, gathered at Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh to launch the 2024 Junior Health Sciences Academy Early Careers Event.

The Adult Literacy for Life Programme office in SOLAS marked International Literacy Day with the launch of their literacy awareness training course at Limerick City Library on Michael Street, Limerick recently.

Dreams of a special school in the region became a reality today with the first day of classes taking place at Limerick Community Special School located in Mungret.

Fedamore Community National School welcomed its first students and their families last Friday. It was an exciting day as the children were introduced to their new school surroundings in the village of Fedamore in East County Limerick.

Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board has announced the appointment of Andrew McNamara as the new Deputy Principal of Coláiste Mhuire, Askeaton, County Limerick. Andrew is a past pupil of the Community College which is under the patronage of the ETB.
School leavers have a broad range of local Further Education and Training (FET) options to choose from at Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, with programmes opening up routes to university and preparing students for careers in various industries.
