Fedamore National School in County Limerick is set to embark on a new chapter as a Community National School (CNS) under the patronage of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board. The development is a significant step in the expansion of educational choice in the area.

On Thursday 16th May the students of St. Anne’s Community College, Killaloe will seek to open our eyes to the creative possibilities that surround us all with their inaugural arts and music festival; Fresh Eyes Festival.

A new Principal and Deputy Principal have been appointed at the new Limerick Community Special School. The school will help provide for children with a moderate general learning disability and complex needs or autism and complex needs from 4 to 18 years.

The Shannon Region Junior Chef of the Year competition took place recently at the Limerick Strand Hotel. It was the pinnacle of a 6-month Transition Year taster initiative led by a team of executive chefs from t ETB’s College of FET, Hospitality Campus.

Some of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board’s top students, both past and present, were recently honoured at a special ceremony at Thomond Park Stadium showcasing the depth of talent that the ETB supports through its schools.

Limerick and Clare ETB is strengthening its commitment to the region through its Local Creative Youth Partnership (LCYP). This coincides with the appointment of a new Co-ordinator who has exciting plans for enhancement of its programmes in a move that will also generate more creative jobs.

A training initiative by Innovate Limerick through Film in Limerick, in partnership with Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board chose three Mid-West film producers to travel to the European Film Market to pitch film projects.
