Two Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board teachers Alan Finnegan of Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh and Gráinne Phelan of Hazelwood Community College have been elected to serve on the committee of the Physical Education Association of Ireland (PEAI) for the 2024/25 academic year. 

On Saturday the 12th of October the Loop Head Rowing Club in Carrigaholt launched their “Five Pilots” St Ayles skiff at Carrigaholt Slipway in the beautiful West Clare village. The build, supported by Limerick and Clare ETB, was carried out by 16 local learners, displaying strong community spirit throughout.

Limerick and Clare ETB has announced the appointment of Gareth O’Connell as the new Deputy Principal of Coláiste Chiaráin, Croom, County Limerick. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role where he will join the community college’s existing Senior Management Team.
