Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board is delighted to extend its congratulations and best wishes to Sarah Lavin, a distinguished former student of Castletroy College in Limerick, as she competes in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
One of the most fully functional and realistic flight simulators used in aircraft training was recently unveiled at Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board’s College of Further Education and Training (FET) Shannon Campus in Co. Clare.

Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board has today confirmed the appointment of Brian O’ Donoghue as the new Principal of Castletroy College in Limerick. Brian succeeds Pádraig Flanagan in the role and will take up the post in September.
Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Patrick O’Donovan TD officially launched the Community Education Framework at the Southill Hub, Limerick, yesterday.
Minister for Education, Norma Foley TD, paid a visit to the location of the new Limerick Community Special School in Mungret in Limerick last week. The new school, established under the patronage of Limerick and Clare ETB will open its doors to an initial 30 students in September 2024.

Fedamore National School in County Limerick is set to embark on a new chapter as a Community National School (CNS) under the patronage of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board. The development is a significant step in the expansion of educational choice in the area.
