The Board of Limerick and Clare ETB recently held its monthly meeting at Hazelwood College, Dromcollogher. A presentation was made on Tuesday 22nd November to Noelle Lenihan who won bronze in the F38 discus at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio.
Noelle attends Hazelwood College and is busy preparing for her Leaving Certificate. The World silver and European gold medallist addressed the members of the Board prior to the meeting. Noelle was accompanied at Tuesday’s presentation by her parents, Elizabeth and Jim, along with local coach Tom Galvin from North Cork AC and her school Principal, Brendan Burke
Hazelwood College is one of 18 post-primary schools across the Limerick / Clare region under the patronage of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board.
