Help Shape the Future of Education and Training in Limerick and Clare

Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board (ETB) is inviting people across Limerick and Clare to have their say on the organisation’s future direction by taking part in a public consultation on its new Statement of Strategy for 2027 to 2031.

The ETB is developing its next five-year strategy, which will help shape the delivery of education and training across both counties. As part of this process, it wants to hear from the people who use its services, work with the organisation and are part of the communities it serves.

Whether you are a student, learner, apprentice, member of staff, parent, community group, employer or local organisation, your views and experiences can help inform the priorities and direction of the new strategy.

Taking part is easy. The consultation is being carried out through a short, seven-question online survey, giving people an opportunity to share their thoughts, experiences and ideas about education and training in their communities.

Limerick and Clare ETB provides a wide range of services across the region, including Community National Schools, a Community Special School, post-primary Community Colleges, Further Education and Training, apprenticeships, Youth Provision, Adult and Community Education, Music Generation local music education partnerships, and Outdoor Education and Training.

The consultation aims to gather perspectives from across this broad range of services, as well as from corporate partners, professional organisations, industry and the wider public. Every contribution will help the ETB better understand the needs and aspirations of the communities it serves.

Bernadette Cullen, Chief Executive of Limerick and Clare ETB, said: “We recognise the vital role that people’s experiences and perspectives play in shaping a responsive, accountable and community-focused future for our organisation. We are committed to ensuring that our services meet the expectations of our students, learners, staff and wider stakeholders, and I would encourage everyone to take a few minutes to share their views.”

Limerick and Clare ETB welcomes your feedback and thanks everyone who takes the time to contribute to shaping its future direction and the survey is open until Friday, 20 November 2026.
