The Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) and Limerick and Clare ETB have announced the addition of a new programme to its existing Tertiary Degree pathways partnership. Developed in collaboration with the National Tertiary Office (NTO), this innovative programme will provide from this September a clear, non-CAO progression route for students pursuing a degree in Mental Health Nursing.

Limerick and Clare ETB has approved the application by Treaty United FC to partner with its College of FET to deliver a new Player Development Programme. The iconic former Royal Cinema on Cecil Street in Limerick City is set to host the filming of a major new feature film production in November with the support of the building’s owner Limerick and Clare ETB. ‘One Night Only’ will complete principal photography in Limerick in December and is expected to premiere in late 2025.
Limerick and Clare ETB has received approval to advance to the next phase of its development of a College of the Future in Newcastle West, County Limerick. Following a robust evaluation process, approval has now been given to move to the Pre-Tender stage of development.
