Coláiste Chiaráin sweep the boards at the LCETB Bouldering Competition

Coláiste Chiaráin first year students did exceptionally well at the LCETB Bouldering Competition in Kilfinane last Thursday.

Bouldering is a low level wall climbing event where the students have to complete 10 different climbing challenges each.

Out of 600 students participating over 4 days, Coláiste Chiarain placed 1^st and 2^nd in the girls’ competition and 1^st in the boys’ competition!! Congratulations to Julia Kruk (1^st) Amy Kelly (2^nd) and Mubarak Ousmane (1^st).

Well done also to their instructor Ms. Ruth Bourke!
