Youthreach in O Connell Avenue Limerick is participating in a project called “SMART – Second Chance Schools Working with Systematic Measurement of Outcomes” funded by the Erasmus + Programme , Key Action 2, Strategic Partnership. The project is running from September 2014 to July 2016.
The aim of the SMART project is to develop a set of quality assurance processes for second chance education providers that includes the development of quality indicators and clear evidence that confirms the achievements of learners in non formal learning scenarios.
The outcome of the project will be to bring the learning that has been achieved from the exploration of second chance education methodologies in order to enhance the quality and relevance of learning offered in education, training and youth work.
