Schools Division Hosts Annual School-Wide Winter Webinar 

Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board’s Schools Division recently held its annual school-wide webinar for staff of all schools with special guest Dr. Zachary Walker, an internationally-renowned expert in individual and organisational learning performance. Teachers, SNAs and PMEs/Teachers on Co-op, and school leaders greatly enjoyed the webinar, which also featured a panel of contributors. These included Limerick and Clare ETB Chief Executive, George O’Callaghan, and Director of Schools, Donncha Ó Treasaigh, alongside Dr. Niamh Lafferty, Course Director, Masters in Educational Leadership at University of Limerick.

Commenting on the success of the event, Director of Schools, Donncha Ó Treasaigh, said: “It was such a pleasure to host Dr. Zachary Walker with staff from all our Community National Schools, Community Colleges, and Community Schools. The benefits of reflecting on Zachary’s expertise and advice is extremely important for all in education to ensure that our young people can reap the rewards of excellence in teaching and learning to further themselves personally.”

The Muintearas in ár Scoileanna – Connection in our Schools  event was viewed by over one thousand staff across schools and colleges via Zoom webinar. Commenting on what was the third such school-wide webinar for ETB schools in Limerick and Clare, Chief Executive, George O’Callaghan said: “I am delighted with the opportunity to acknowledge our hard-working teachers, SNAs, clerical, ancillary staff and Principals and Deputy Principals across our schools via our annual webinar to maintain and enrich our close connection across the region.”
