VISUAL ART, PHOTOGRAPHY, FILM AND FASHION TO TAKE CENTRE STAGE AS POPULAR LIMERICK ARTS FESTIVAL RETURNS  

Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board’s College of FET Mulgrave Street Campus has announced the return of its popular Arts Festival, now entering its third year. This year’s festival promises an expanded and ambitious programme, presented in partnership with some of Limerick’s most beloved cultural venues. The annual event celebrates the creative achievements of learners from programmes in Visual Art, Photography, Film, Theatre, and Fashion, offering the public a chance to experience fresh voices and bold artistic expression.

The festival opens on Friday 16th of May with a compelling Visual Art and Photography Exhibition at the People’s Museum, showcasing work by emerging artists and photographers exploring contemporary themes and diverse perspectives.

On Tuesday 20th May, the Limerick City Gallery of Art will host an Artist Talk titled ‘Rituals’, where advanced photography learners will share the stories and inspirations behind their work.

On Wednesday 21st May, the spotlight shifts to Belltable, Limerick for an evening of Premiere Film Screenings and Animation Showcase, featuring original short films, documentaries, and animations.

The festival concludes on Thursday 22nd May with a vibrant Fashion Show reception at the Hunt Museum, where fashion learners will unveil innovative designs in one of Limerick’s most historic and inspiring venues.

The Mulgrave Street Arts Festival is an inclusive celebration of emerging talent and the public is warmly invited to attend, engage, and support the next generation of artists and makers. All events are free and open to all.
